When the Northwest Florida Chapter of the American Red Cross put out the call that they needed help staffing shelters as Tropical Storm Arlene approached the coastline where Florida and Alabama meets, the Capital Area Chapter of the American Red Cross recruited 15 of its Disaster Services Volunteers and deployed them to Crestview and Pensacola.
