For the past three years, the Capital Area Chapter of the American Red Cross has participated in the Mock DWI event held at Liberty County High School's football stadium. Again in April of 2005, ERV # 1074 was on hand to support the event with water and Gatorade.

The mission of the Mock DWI event was to demonstrate to Liberty County High School's seniors the dangers of drinking and driving.
