On Wednesday July 5th Girl Scouts from Troop 46 in Tallahassee, delivered eight (8) Shelter Activity Centers to the Capital Area Chapter of the American Red Cross.

The Shelter Activity Centers will be available to children evacuated to eight (8) of the chapter's shelters. The girls constructed and equiped the specially designed cabinets with books, board games and other recreation supplies. Delivery of the Shelter Activity Centers to the chapter was the culminations of months of work toward the Girl Scout Gold Award.
