Fire House / Fire Weather House

Home Fire Hero

Since 1998 the Capital Area Chapter of the American Red Cross has provided home fire prevention and safety training from its two home fire safety Fire House trailers.

During this time over 120,000 of our chapter's youth have learned how to prevent home fires and the actions that should be taken when a home fire strikes.

From traveling to area elementary schools throughout the year to attending community, church and neighborhood festivals, one of these two powerfull educational tools can be seen almost daily preparing our youth for the possibility of a home fire.
