Building Hurricane Resistant Model Houses

As they did during the very active 2004 Hurricane Season, seventh grade students at Franklin
County High School - East Campus undertook the mission of building Hurricane Resistant Model
Houses as part of their science curriculum.

With the City of Carrabelle located along the coast of rural Franklin County, it is
extremely important for area residents and the students at Franklin County High School - East Campus
to understand the threats that HURRICANES
pose to this region of Florida.
