North Florida Regional Domestic Security Task Force Meeting

October 12 2007

As part of North Florida Regional Domestic Security Task Force (NFRDSTF) meeting held at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement in Tallahassee on October 12 2007, Chris Floyd from the Capital Area Chapter of the American Red Cross hosted Disaster Jeopardy.

With three guest contestants, one each from Law Enforcement, Emergency Management and Fire the five rounds of Disaster Jeopardy along with a final round, were conducted before 70 members of the NFRDSTF.

Chris also served at the games HOST.

Disaster Jeopardy After the rules were reviewed and understood by all the contestants, Disaster Jeopardy began.
Disaster Jeopardy The guest contestants were from left to right Chief Cindy Dick representing (Tallahassee Fire Department) Fire, Director Scott Nelson representing (Wakulla County Emergency Management) Emergency Management and Lieutenant Jimmy Williams representing (Leon County Sheriff's Office) Law Enforcement.
Disaster Jeopardy Disaster Jeopardy gets underway with NIMS Round for 100 Doughnuts.
Disaster Jeopardy The guest contestants use their kazoos to sound off that they have the correct question. With the NIMS Round, Fire jumped out in front of the other contestants with 100 doughnut points.
Disaster Jeopardy Next came the STUFF Round for 200 Bottles of Water.

Disaster Jeopardy After the NIMS Round came the STUFF Round, then the COMMUNICATIONS Round, then back to the STUFF Round and then the NOTIFICATION Round.

After the five rounds came the Final Jeopardy Round!

Disaster Jeopardy At its conclusion,
  • Fire had 1,199 Doughnut Points
  • Law Enforcement had 1,100 Doughnut Points
  • Emergency Management had 0 Doughnut Points
