Kelly DeRouen lived in New Orleans prior to Hurricane Katrina and evacuated to Tallahassee where she and her two children now live. While working for the Capital Area Chapter as a data entry clerk, entering Hurricane Wilma case file information into the American Red Cross Client Assistant System, it came to the attention of Project HOPE caseworkers that Kelly needed transportation so she could get to work and take care of her family. On December 23, Kraft Nissan in partnership with the Capital Area Chapter presented an automobile to Kelly DeRouen and her two children. Working under the Capital Area Disaster Recovery Initiative many offers of "Goods and Services" were made to the Capital Area Chapter and Project HOPE caseworkers. Theses offers where then matched with the needs of Hurricane Katrina evacuees living throughout North Florida. The following photo expose chronicles the evenings activities.
