Madison County Florida Masters of Disaster Program Implementation

On September 8th 2000 the Capital Area Chapter launched a statewide program in corporation with the State
of Florida Department of Education, the Department of Community Affairs and Florida's American Red Cross
to implement the Masters of Disaster program into every public elementary and middle school in the state.

Chapter presents the Kindergarten through Second Grade curriculum kit to Bridgett Miller, a Kindergarten
Teacher at Madison Elementary School and Lucille Day, Director of Education and Curriculum Support for
the school district. Age appropriate curriculum kits were distributed to each of the Madison County
School Districts elementary and middle schools.
