Any fourth or fifth grader in Florida could submit their poster to be judged in this statewide contest. The contest was part of the 2005 Hazardous Weather Awareness Week activities.

On Monday morning February 21 Individuals representing the various Hazardous Weather Awareness Poster Contest sponsoring agencies begin to gather in the courtyard of the Capitol to kick off Hazardous Weather Awareness Week.
