Disaster Relief Operations and the importance of effective management of an operation while participating
in the Red Hills Disaster College held in Tallahassee Florida
from February 20th through 25th 2006.

The Red Hills Disaster College began on Monday February
20th as Disaster Services Volunteers from several American Red Cross chapter's gathered at Faith Presbyterian Church. |

As part of the Red Hills Disaster College the
Disaster Kitchen Workshop was facilitated using the Capital Area Chapter's Disaster Services Mobile Kitchen (MOKI). |

The tents used as the warehouse and cook tents were deployed. |
 |
And all of the supplies were unpacked from the Mobile Kitchen trailer. |
 |
The workshop participants then set about preparing lunch for 200. |
 |

One lunch was prepared it was then served. |
