The Capital Area Chapter of the American Red Cross, in its never ending quest to educate individuals,
families, neighborhoods and businesses for the next hurricane use a new method of getting the message across
to motorists.
Throughout the six months of the 2007 Hurricane Season, five (5) variable message boards could be seen
flashing their Hurricane Preparedness Message. Placed on all of the major roads leading into Tallahassee,
the chapter's message was seen by 97,000 motorists daily as they entered the city.
