600 pounds of cookies!
925 boxes of mostly-chocolate Thin Mints donated through the Girl Scout Council of the Apalachee Bend by residents of the Big Bend
region of North Florida are bound for US military troops who serve in the US Joint Task Force guarding Al-Queda and Taliban detainees.
The cookie shipment was coordinated by the Capital Area and Central Panhandle Chapters of the American Red Cross, who according to Department
of Defense request, oversee and safeguard donated shipments bound for our troops. US Army Reservists of the 160th MP BN, Headquartered
in Tallahassee Fl, on Active Duty bound for Guantanamo Bay, Cuba packaged the pallet and provided transportation.
